CSID Accounts and Dual monitoring:

QTWatch is not restricted to only a main CSID and secondary CSID (dual device) such as a communicator. An unlimited number of reporting devices can be connected to the same account, i.e. RDC, SIA Communicator, CellSecure etc.

Caller Line Identity:

In coming calls can be monitored and directly linked to accounts like manual call inputs. The clients reason for calling can be entered from a pre set list and placed on the stack for processing. All incoming calls from unregistered numbers are also recorded with the callers number logged for reference purposes.

Security:

Horizontal and vertical security levels can be set up to group users and set permissions to secure data manipulations. Monitoring personnel can also be restricted for categories of calls such as Panics and burglaries, and only mains failures for others. All data entries and changes are time stamped with user references to keep a trace on data integrity and audit trails.

Open ended auto monitoring (scheduling / open and close monitoring):

QTWatch has the most advanced auto monitoring function of all monitioring systems. Apart from the normal opening and closing times, system test monitoring and guard patrols it has the ability to be set up for monitoring of events such as fridge motors or industrial systems. It can also set up to send reminders and monitor guards at scheduled functions like churches etc. There is also no limitations on the amount of monitoring functions per alarm account i.e. radio system test + panel system test + open and close + function guard + night guard etc.

Alarm History:

QTWatch make use of the Borland data base engine and are currently the system that have the ability to keep the longest history with out slowing down the response on the system. Unlike MS SQL that is volume dependant and memory starved, something that are limited in all known windows systems it has the ability to handle volumes much more efficient.

Expansion path (Also referred to as Upgrade path):

QTWatch runs on a base system that can serve as a workstation and a stand alone system. As the need arises workstations are added for any size of network.

Upgrades (Also refered to as new versions):

QTWatch is problabily the most dynamic system available and new versions are released nearly every month with additions, improvements and enhancements to fit in with market trends and needs from our clients. Your QTwatch system and support fees entitles you to the latest version at all times and you will only be responsible for the cost of updating your system and data i.e. travelling, postage, data manipulation etc.

Manual Entries (Phone in signals):

Event entries can be manually entered from a pre setup list for all sites/client accounts on the system. If the caller line identity mentioned elsewhere is in operation the call from the client authentication info can be directly be converted.

Flexible setup and process guides:

Standard procedures and the steps followed in processing alarm signals is the "trade mark" of each monitoring company. In QTWatch these procedures and action guides are user definable and very easy to setup. This will assist in guiding monitoring personnel to deliver a quality guided service on different types of signals at all times.

Client and call parameters (service types / event types / categories):

Parameters for client categories, Service Types / categories, Call / signal types and priority etc. are all user definable and can be named to the clients preference and language. This can be used to define the service of a client, or specify reaction procedures for businesses etc.

Stack differentiation (multiple stacks):

The stack can be split in different even types to filter event of the same types to be grouped together i.e. burglaries etc.

Colour coded monitor screen:

Colour codes are used on the monitoring screen to flag progress in managing events, special instructions and conditions and aging of signals to assist personnel and make it easy for them to plan their actions.

Irrespective of the security level of monitoring personnel they have rights to enter and alter the following:

Special instructions:

Instructions on premisses that will be vacant for some time or not normally occupied (holiday specials). There is a template of a comprehensive range of information regarding conditions on the premises and contact information. The time period when applicable are set and all stack entries will be flagged during the validation period.

Temporary notes:

Short notes that will be applicable for a limited period of time that will be automatically removed by the system when expired.

Setting account on technician testing:

This feature will prevent test activations and events to be placed on the monitoring stack. This feature was developed to used in conjunction with SMS forwarding to the technician and relieve monitoring personnel from manually forwarding events to testing sites.

Suspend runaway (lock on) signals:

Temporary suspension of runaway signals from being placed on the stack for a predetermined period.

Quick loading of sites:

This feature makes the load only os sites easy and are accessable to all levels.
All the information and access to this functions are entered and duplicated with the permanent and secure data areas for reference and control purposes.

Monitoring screen:

QTWatch has a comprehensive monitoring screen that offers a one screen solution for all monitoring actions. With all the activities on one screen a situation analysis of all alarms prioritized and colour coded for aging, follow up progress, reaction activities etc. allow monitoring personnel to get a full picture of what is happening with one glance. Full details of addresses, contact persons, Key holders, Special instructions, Holiday or empty house instructions with details, activated zones and descriptions, multiple activations, actions taken, dispatch procedures, reaction allocations and progress etc. can be reached without switching between screens and lose track of the stack and what is eminent.

Ease of mastering the system:

Without the knowledge on how to use this comprehensive monitoring screen many comments and remarks like "too busy screen" etc. are offered. Monitoring personnel on the other hand seems to master the use of this "complex" screen in minutes thanks to the fact that there is no need to press any F-function keys to switch to a screen that is not visible and will obstruct the screen with the stack and so loose touch with what is eminent.

Quality guidance for personnel:

User defined actions and follow up reports in logical order is available for monitoring personnel by a click on the screen to guide then in the execution of their duties and ensure that quality assisted reports are produced. There are also other information like maps, Location descriptions, building characteristics available for positive conformation on arrivals. Standard procedures are also available to guide monitoring personnel and act as a check list.
